Some would say I'm lucky, others that I'm blessed

but for the last 20 years, I've been able to fish an average of 20 to 50 hours a week, usually more than six months a year.

Over the years, I've learned what works... and what doesn't, and what's only sometimes. I've tried many different brands and types of gear: poles, reels, lines, lures, etc. and have formed field tested opinions on most of them. The majority of my fishing has been in fresh water... for almost every type of popular game fish there is.

I have all the gear,

but if you have a favorite pole or reel, feel free to bring it along. If you are in, or planning to be in, the Southern Oregon area... and are wanting to catch some fish, you can schedule a trip. Availability depends on the bookings I already have, the season, nature, and cycles.
That's where I come in. I know what's where they will be, if it's possible to catch them... what they are eating at that time of the year, which tackle and bait work the best, as well as the technique to maximize your fun and success.

One of my highlights was getting to meet Mr. Jimmy Houston, and compare some notes on catching fish. I really appreciate all the people that have taught me over the years, and truly enjoy teaching new people the art of catching.

Mountain Man, another interesting person to meet & talk fishing with.

In addition to all the incredible streams, rivers, and lakes in the state of Oregon... there are some favorite spots, and proven areas for different types of fish:

  1. The Rogue River ~ Trout, Steelhead & Salmon
  2. The Umpqua ~ Bass & Trout
  3. The Columbia ~ Sturgeon

If the goal is to catch... as Thomas Edison once said,
"I've never failed. But I've found 10,000 ways that didn't work."
In most cases, on most days, for most types of fish, I know what works...
and how to lure in the big ones.

It all starts by contacting me... explaining your goals, and I'll let you know how I can help you achieve them.
